Bihar Police Constable Selection Process 2025

The selection process for Bihar Police Constable recruitment consists of the following stages:

1. Written Examination (OMR-Based)

• The exam is qualifying in nature. Marks will not be counted for final selection.
• Candidates must score at least 30% to qualify for the next stage.
• The exam will have objective-type questions based on General Knowledge & Current Affairs.

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST)

Candidates who qualify in the written exam will be called for PET & PST, which includes:

• Height & Chest Measurement (as per category-wise criteria)
• Running:
  • Male: 1.6 km in 6 minutes
  • Female: 1 km in 6 minutes
• High Jump:
  • Male: 4 feet
  • Female: 3 feet
• Shot Put:
  • Male: 16-pound shot at least 16 feet
  • Female: 12-pound shot at least 10 feet

3. Final Merit List & Medical Examination

• The final selection is based on performance in PET.
• Selected candidates will undergo a medical test to check physical fitness.
• The final merit list will be prepared based on PET performance.

4. Document Verification

Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide original documents for verification before final appointment.
